I am not logged in, but it's me, SoSick, and yes those bonding agents are definitely toxic, much more so than the composite fillings he descripes as causing reactions a few paragraphs above. Raeson being, the bonding agent is a resin, often a 2 part, one a sticky gummy soft substance, and the other a sticky gummy catalyst. the catalyst part of the resins, any plastic resin resin (methacrylate, expoy, urethane, whatever) is extremely toxic and will be entering your mouth in a full as yet uncatalysed state. It will enter the dentin of the teeth (many are known to cause bad reactions right there) and undoubtedly some of it enter your digestive tract or bloodstream , it is a lot like a very harsh solvent, the kind that on contact with skin will penetrate your skin immediately, I have experienced that quite often. The fumes alone of 2 part-resins are known to make people quite ill. Some of the plastic resins we used to fabricate and finish model work with when I was younger (same ingredients in your dental materials, the resins) are known among persons in other trades as being some of the most toxic cancer causing materials in industries such as auto-finishing, mold-making, airbrush work, and things of that nature. Epoxy paints especially have been know to make people very ill, are highly recommended against because of toxicity even after dry, and these are essentially the items that dentist are using for adhesives.

I had the pleasure of using an epoxy based paint once... gave me a burning rash I will never forget, and I couldn;t even get near the stuff even when it was dry, my eyes would water, it would give me a headache, it was very unpleasant I was warned about this stuff but ignored the warning, which was correct.
