Does anyone here have vision problems? I am noticing that I have visual disturbances - not just blurry vision, almost like a double vision but not quite double. I definitely feel like my eyes don't focus together and I have that pressure behind them. I am getting nervous and don't know if I should get an MRI done. I would appreciate your feedback.

Andrea, I had the visual disturbances when I had TMJ. This causes soo many sideaffects. My neck, eyes and ears all went haywire!! Have you got back on the NCD yet? I know it's tuff to tolerate but it always is in the beginning. Once you get your mercury level down the TMJ will get better!! I would run into the corner of walls in my house and would see things fall or move. It would be hard to look at my computer at work because of the bright office lighting. My eyes were very sensitive to light!! This all goes hand in hand with mercury overload. I had candida problems, my tongue had the thrush on it and red bumps. It was very hard for me to eat!! I had a filling that was leaking from me grinding my teeth. Has your dentist told you that any of your fillings were leaking? Of course this added to my problem!! I hope the NCD works for you, it has done wonders for me. Don't give up or get discouraged, it will all pay off for you if you keep trying. I came to a point of not wanting to drive, my eyes and ears combined had me soo off balance that I became a hermit!! Keep in touch <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Hi andrea, when i became ill a couple of yrs ago, one day i noticed my eyes had lots of floaters, they just appeared one day, a couple of weeks later all of a sudden i felt weird, my vision got all distorted and blurred and i found it hard to walk. i didnt know what was going on, i didnt think it was my fillings. i also got visual snow, it was mad. since getting my fillings out most symptoms have gone, i get blurred sometimes but i put that down to my liver, it comes and goes. Last year i was wearing glasses, now i have good vision, my prescription has changed for the better.

Thank you everyone for your feedback - it really helps. Yes Treva, I agree that I have to get back on the NCD and concentrate on that and the amalgam removal. I know that the visual disturbances are related to the TMJ stuff too, because they come after I chew at times (but other times they just come). Dawn, I am hoping that amalgam removal will be enough to decrease my total body burden that the visual disturbances will go away like yours. But I get nervous because I am so hypersensitive. I have to move forward though - the visual stuff is freaking me out. It really helps to hear stories of you guys having this and getting better. Tracy, I know you and I have some of the same symptoms and you are so hypersensitive like me. Are you still on the NCD? Elvis, I will check out that website too .
Thank you all again.

I think the TMJ advice sounds good and the website might be unnecessarily worrying not that I remember it all that well, TMJ is a major pain in the bondoonie, I didn't know what all it could do!

Hi Elvis. I just watched that video that you mentioned - very interesting and I can relate to a lot of what he was saying. But the video ends, and they do not say if he is better (after 20 minutes)!!! I assume he is if they put it on the website. Interesting he mentioned colonics and sauna - I do colonics regularly already and have a sauna in my basement that I am yet to set up after I clean it out a bit. Anyway, all of this seems to be a confirmation that the mercury is probably what's causing the vision issues. More reason to move forward with a slow detox.
Thanks again.
