M.E. is basically chronic fatigue syndrome or post viral fatigue syndrome. It's called the yuppie flu also. My cousin had it, and still kind of does. A person can be so incapacitated by it, they almost cannot function from the muscle weakness. Some even need help going to the toilet. So it can impact a life severely. Not sure what the cause is, but they "think" it's a virus of some sort.
