They said its all in my head but I refues to believe this. What do they actually test for adn what tests shouldI do myself.

The doctor thinks its a waste to test for FREE T3 and Adrenal Fatigue etc. why is this?

hi its not a waist of time to have these test.
ive just been to the docs they aint got a fffing clue. sat in with them trying to get some bloody test done because of my numbness.
which is getting to the point i cant hardly bloody walk.
and all they say to me its stress. i felt felt like punching the doc in face.. i said i would like more tests to rule out ms..
he said " but your brain mri came back ok"
sooo what. there all the bloody same. i said you need to test for a spine mri. lumbar puncture, and emg,nvc...
ive got to the point of feeling like giving up. none of them listen to me...bunch of idiots

i would get your free t3 and free t4 done you need both.. dont bother with the fsh waist of time, docs dont even understand the results.
also your ferratrin. which checks for the amount of iron stored in your body..

vit b12, testosterone, and adrenal test. dont bother with the blood or urine.test waist of time. thats what the docs will give you. it has to be saliva taken with a swobe. for times every 6 hours..
ive had all the test mentioned above at the docs. apart from adrenal...
i just go to the desk and say i want these test done..
i dont go through the doc. waist of time.

ps. when you,ve had your tests done.. ask if you can have a printout of results. ill rephrase that... tell them you want one..

I agree with the previous post; The doctors know nothing about this so they just default to blaming you for the problems. It's a horrible thing to do.

There was recently a case of ayoung girl dying of renal failure. She had been diagnosed with a psychiatric illness but her mum insisted on a post mortem and shed actually died of a virus in her spine. Wont I dont get is when my son was in hospital on a neurological unit there was a guy there who had phoned the ambulance in the night cos he had numbness in his legs and they were doin every test available. brain scans lumber punctures the lot. I guess your face just has to fit. Also I know of a guy who like Sandi kept complaing of stomach pains. They actually put him on a psychiatric unit. Two weeks after leaving he was diagnosed with stomach cancer and I could go on and on about msitakes, theyre never ending.
