It would also be helpful to understand that evil men (and women) are in the world; They make their decisions; They know what they are doing and are doing it willfully, as amazing as it may seem.

In short, it's impossible to truly understand Biblical prophecy without understanding modern-day conspiracies, especially those of the global type. These are conducted by evil men with access to knowledge who make personal choices, but not in ignorance. Not at all, again, as amazing as it may seem.
