FDA "Backs Down(?)" Over Deadly Mercury Amalgams...

Monday, March 19th, 2007 - One of the biggest scandals in American health care is coming to a head this March 27th, 2007.

In the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, a case, called "Moms Against Mercury, et al., v. FDA" will get its time in the sunlight, and the Defendant, the United States Food & Drug Administration (FDA) isn't doing well in its Defense.

The case is simple. US Citizens are suing the FDA for NOT, during the last THIRTY YEARS, ruling on the safety, or danger, of mercury amalgam tooth fillings. The Plaintiffs want mercury amalgam tooth fillings banned completely, and forever.

And, the FDA has virtually no defense...

I'm afraid that the people that run our government and health care system will never let that happen. They stand to lose too much if they lose that case.

True, it will be hard to win, but there is a God. This is worth praying about.

Prayer works. I've experienced it myself many times. Fasting is even more amazing, in terms of motivating God to move.

I agree that prayer is important, Russ. However, the evil world system that exists now can only be overthrown by God after the Tribulation. Until then the most that we can do is to put a few chinks in the system.

I'd love to see the FDA lose that lawsuit and then some Americans might actually realize that the government is not in business to protect us. However, at this point I'm not even sure that most Americans would care because they are so spiritually blind.

I'm not meaning to be pessimistic but we have to realize that we are facing an incredibly formidable foe.

Ironically it was my own illness and coming to places like this forum that finally opened my eyes. As a Christian I believed in sin and I knew that evil existed in the world but I didn't know how bad it really was and that the US is as evil as most of the other nations.

My pastor constantly recites that line to the congregation,i too am supposed to be on a month long stretch of fasting and praying,but it is quite difficult to be disciplined when you do the kind of job i do,and you are hypoglycemic.
Amd yes prayer can move mountains it depends totally on ones faith.

I truly understand your pessimism Aaron, and I mostly agree with you. I would just add that prophecies of punishment are dependent on the severity of the sin. Therefore, repentance is always a good option, although (I agree with you—that it is) unlikely in this day.

Interestingly, it all comes down to quality of life. This is the method used to keep us pure (if was allow it to):

"I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:"

Blessing = Good quality of life.
Cursing = Bad quality of life.

(This works like clockwork in my personal life).

The punishments are in proportion to the sin, so we do have a say, which is good...

"So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them. For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes. And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not feed, nor drink water: But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands. There's always hope.

Quality of life, or lack of it, is what brought most of us to this forum, Russ. Unfortunately most of us have a low quality of life but I hope that it isn't due to our personal sins.

For now it seems like evil men are being blessed with money, power, and good health. The strong prosper and the weak suffer and die. I long for God to come and set things right.

You're so absolutely right. I have often struggled with this (the success and the demise of the suffering) myself. It's very hard to watch.

My way of handling this—in the fact the only way of handling this that I know of—is knowing that Yahweh will be a just and merciful judge on that day when all souls are judged.

There will be great and powerful shouting for joy when these evil people are judged once and for all, and we no longer have to live in the wake of their destruction.

It would help to realise the word sin actually means ignorance, as in Lacking knowledge, it doesnt mean bad, AT ALL.
When you lack knowledge you are more likely to make mistakes....When societies have the basis of insecurity, fear, guilt, blame etc. you are more likely to miss the lesson of knowing Mistake are lessons & lessons are for learning from, would offer you.... You become so involved in the negatives that you put yourself down, rehash your guilt over & over, fill yourself with shame so instead of learning from the mistake you have placed yourself into training yourself to repeat your mistakes.

Stress changes the molecular structure of the body & you threaten your health & well being & the cycle feeds off itself.
To pray, affirm is to ask believing you shall recieve....NOW take a look at what you ask for via what you believe can happen to you...& according to you faith it is done unto you.
If you give yourself reason to believe you're worth much you wont get much...Your choice.

Your life is a series of choices & repercussions. Reaping of the thought seeds you sow.
If it is going to hurt you (FIRST) then hurt another the choice is easy dont do it...if you dont know & have the courage to proceed & your intent is good (be honest about this) & you make a mistake & upset someone what more can you do. You have nothing to feel bad about but even so there would be a lesson in how you deal with it afterwards.
Poeople who dont hurt themselves dont hurt others deliberately.

Start feeling guilty or bad that someone else might have been over touchy
& yes you will be in trouble. An opology for upsetting can be offered but make it plain (if they keep up looking for attention by making you feel guilty) that you have no intention of feeling guilty for something you had no intention of doing. You are sorry they cant accept that but thats thend of it.
No fight, No argument....soon you will find others will accept this from you.
They may not like your genuine honesty but the grow to respect you ability
to be No frills honesty.
When you play games you create confusion in the minds of others & undermine yourself leaving yourself open to ridicule. You might say something with double meanings & deny you were being nasty...You cant fool yourself so dont even try.
Practice to be honest & genuine...not for others for your own self esteem.

When you work at keeping your concience clear thats really all the work you need to do...to build inner strength & be able to hold your head high.
It helps to work out on paper what traits you want others to know you as & practice 1 or 2 ar a time for them to become who you are.
This removes messiness from your life , you know where you stand with yourself which frees to to see where you might want to go in life....& your health blossoms.

I prefer to take the Biblical approach to sin, which is willfully doing something harmful and not in ignorance...

Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?

For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.

It would also be helpful to understand that evil men (and women) are in the world; They make their decisions; They know what they are doing and are doing it willfully, as amazing as it may seem.

In short, it's impossible to truly understand Biblical prophecy without understanding modern-day conspiracies, especially those of the global type. These are conducted by evil men with access to knowledge who make personal choices, but not in ignorance. Not at all, again, as amazing as it may seem.
