Hi does anyone know of a dentist in the south that can test for the vapour around extracted teeth. This is all I want, not a full examination, xray etc. I had my amalgams out 2 yrs ago, x rays show nothing but I take it from whats been said xrays would be no good to confirm for mercury or not? Or can you buy one of these?

Dr Hesham has a mercury vapour analyser. He is located in London

I plan on seeing hin to get mine removed properly.

You don't need to test for hg vapor if the teeth have been extracted.

also there is a woman called marian carew who works in stanstead way who charges £50 a tooth and my friend went to her and she was very good

I want to see hesham because he does the removal under 1 go through sedation which is so much easier. But the cost and temp fillings is the big killer. I think he said I am able to pay in installments.

Those dentists sound really good and the price is very cheap! 50 a tooth is awesome. let me know mate im really interested.

Also Gareth rhidian sounds very good but I heard of stories of people not recovering from seeing him or david harvey austin since he missed a cavity and didnt pull a tooth out properly (Raygee mentions).

Hesham is not on the list of dentists because it is not a requirement. Some dentists belong to the Society, some don't, it's up to the individual. It is not a sign of being a good dentist if one is on the Society of Mercury Free Dentistry list.
