Hello,

I hope to have my mercury dental fillings replaced, although, it probably will be a few at a time.

A health food store has given me a name of a local dentist who says the dentist is able to remove mercury fillings correctly.....I need a few questions that I can ask the dentist or nurse to see if he really knows the proper protocol to follow.

She also said he uses porcelain(sp?) on-lays and in-lays.....since I'll mainly need crowns, is this acceptable?
If so, what should the metal under the porcelain be made of....gold? or does that matter? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Thanks for any help anyone can give me.
