Hi Joey, I understand that might be your experience, but it is not just a diet, it is actually a healthy lifestyle for anybody to improve health. If it was a restricted diet in the respect of avoiding healthy foods, then it would be an issue. So I can't quite see it's more trouble than its worth, or a risk, as it simply eliminates the bad and encourages the good.

, it simply avoids all the foods that are toxic and feed candida and do harm to the immune system generally.

Initially people may get worse as that is often the case as candida flares up as its dying off. Yeah the underlining condition does have to be addressed, but any condition is going to respond to a healthy diet, regardless of yeast or mercury or whatever. That is the point of this diet. It's not just about candida, it's about building up the immune system and allowing for repair.

Using antifungals on a mercury toxic person with candida can be extremely risky. Antifungals work by killing candida on contact and split open the cell walls. Candida often absorb mercury and antifungals can kill a load of candida which can then release a lot of mercury at the sametime. I have had it occur and I was poisoned by it. The diet did not do this, it allowed the candida to instead slowly starve to death. When I used an antifungal, it killed a lot of candida in one go, releasing heavy metals. I had to chelate them out.

Yeah the underlining condition must be found and dealt with, but not all of us know exactly what that is and dealing with candida helps symptoms and helps many people survive much easier as they address the underlining factor. Some may never find it, so they may need to address candida permanently.

Candida is only a symptom, but it is serious and can cause enough issues on its own as to become a worse illness than the underlining problem that's allowing the candida to occur in the first place. My problme is damage from a severe bacterial infection in 2003 that I did not recover from, nor have they been able to discover what it was. So candida for me is something I have to deal with all the time. If I don't, I'm in even worse trouble.
