Diet is the main part of curing candida, the rest is supplementary and may not be needed. To suggest that one can be loose on the diet, and take antifungals at the sametime is actually misleading. Diet is the main part of curing candida, it is not simply something to do half hearted. Antifungals are a next step if a person wants to go that far, they are only to supplement and aid the process, diet is a MUST. Otherwise you are simply continuing to feed candida with your diet, plus attempting to kill it with antifungals at the sametime. Which is not the idea at all. On top of this threelac is very expensive and some are disallusioned by it when they discover that it does not always work as it says it will. Losing weight intially on the diet is normal for many people. Weight loss is often due to candida dying off. Many do get worse intially, then later things balance out again as health is improved and nutrients are being absorbed properly. I would strongly suggest this link http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/ to get some of the best ideas to cure candida and in fact aid healing the body from many other problems as well. I have not heard good reports regarding threelac and belong to a few candida websites. People who have used it seem disallusioned by it, but wanted to try it in hopes they could continue eating some sugars. Most of us want to keep eating sugars, but this is what candida craves and needs to survive, which might also account for the difficulty in giving it up.
