I forgot to mention that one of the first things I read about Babesia online was that it can really wreck the teeth. That rung a bell with me because all mine have been replaced with crowns or bridges except for three, which are full of amalgams. (And would have been crowned by now too if my dentist had gotten his way). I also have two mercury tattoos under my gums and have had 6 root canals. So my mouth is really a mess, and I was chalk full of mercury for sure. Yet I've still improved a whole lot by working on getting rid of my infections first. I also started taking NCD a few months after I started treating the Lyme, and at that time had a great response to it.
I'm actually glad now I didn't have my amalgams out sooner because I'll have a better chance at recovery now that I'm stronger. Also knowing what I know now I wil wait even longer to get my root canals removed. They harbor tons of toxic bacteria and germs, and when you have Babesia it would be especially risky to have a lot of that stuff suddenly released into your bloodstream.
It's kind of a damned if you do damned if you don't situation. All the bugs in your root canals can prevent you from becoming completely better, yet taking them out could potentially make you a lot worse, unfortunately. -- LB
