My doctor still seems to think its possibly all in my head and to keep up counselling and even see a psychiatrist(I don’t want to go on meds) even though I explained mercury and candida. He just said I look too much into things and tried to get me on anti depressants and anxiety drugs. But im going ahead to do my own health plan by eating better and getting rid of all of my silver fillings.
I had a blood test from the doctors and it came back clear but what do they actually test for? I have this new form I ordered from nptech online and they do special testing and wanting to know what tests I could specifically do for my symptoms ?
Im looking into the Salivary Hormone profiles such as Adrenal Stress (Dhea, Cortisol and Testosterone(4 samples at different times of the day.) And the melatonin sample. Are these reliable or worth doing?
Im also looking at the thyroid testing and maybe Frerritin(After reading stop the thyroid madness). Thing is the doctor already ran a blood test and I am sure they would have thoroughly checked it? Do they test for all thyroid or vitamin deficiencies? It was a free blood test (NHS) that they normally run before the doctor tells me I am fine etc.
Which of these tests do you recommend. I just seem to have mostly mental, visual symptoms. Cant stare, concentrate or focus on things, Have tension in stomach, Tremors when using muscles, Dull aches in legs, get quite anxious a lot for no reason, dizziness , Panic, racing thoughts, Fullness in chest, Notice my heartbeat pounding all the time especially when trying to concentrate on reading or sleeping I find it very frustrating.
These are done through blood work on the nptech I can order What do you think would be best for me?
*Free T3, Free T4, TSH Thyroglobulin Antibodies TgAb Thyroid Peroxidase TPO Lipid Profile Cholesterol Profile Homocysteine Gliadin Antibodies IgA IgG t-Transglutaminase Serum Ostradiel Serum Progesterone Serum Testosterone SHBG Prolactin LH FSH *Vitamin B12 (Known to cause mental issues?) Serum Folate Red Cell Folate Ferritin (heard it was recommended in thyroid madness) Iron/TIBC ( I have been told I might be iron deficient). Intrinsic Factor Antibodies Total PSA Free PSA Serum Insulin Glucose *Selenium (this might b egood to see if mercury has depleted this source) LFT Liver Function U + E Urea + Electrolytes FBC ESR Serum DHEA-s Serum Cortisol (as below) Adrenal Antibodies (Saliva test is better I heard? Not sure) IGF-1 Candida Antibodies.(Not worth it maybe?)
Allergy blood tests (ALCAT) Unsure of validity or reliability) Are they any good?) BT100 foods.
Im looking to do a lot of them but think are they really worth it or are they really reliable? If I was to do the candida one I think its probably a waste of money since I should just do the diet anyway. The food intolerances sound great but I don’t know the validity but its very expensive..
Are the blood cortisol, adrenal and Dhea worth it or is it best to just do saliva ones? Are all these reliable?
Thanks for youe help. James.

siga = Secretory SIgA Level.
A saliva test is used. It's needed in the immune system to fight off microorganisms, viruses and bacteria. A low level of it suggests adrenal exhaustion, so an adrenal stress index test would probably be the next step after that. A friendly bacteria with a weird name, something Boulardii can be used to raise the SIga Level. Not that i have tried this, but i know a therapist who looks at this area first in a patient.

Good for you. Depression isn't a Prozac deficiency. The psychiatric meds will fail if you are suffering serious toxicity. I was on drugs and ECT for 5 years with 0% progress made. I wouldn't of been surprised if their next move had of been a lobotomy. Doctors are good at almost convincing someone in a vulnerable mental state that any alternative medicine is weak and inferior. Blind arrogance is what we're up against from them. Counselling is a non-starter if your facing a biological/toxicological condition. It's insanity for it to be suggested in the first place, but i guess it makes them look as if their doing something for us.

I'm glad to see that more and more people are realizing that doctors are regular people just as everyone else. Because of this, they are (exceptionally) prone to giving in to their pride when asked a question that they don't know the answer to.
Instead of saying those three beautiful words that we all long to hear from time to time, they give in to their pride and make up an answer off the top of their heads, which can be—and often is—harmful.
Those three beautiful words are, "I don't know".
When a doctor says this, you can be pretty sure he's an honest person.
