Symptoms
I cant get myself to stare at anything at all. If I try to stare at something (for example the full stop on the end of the sentence) My eys feel like they arent staring at it or they seem to look away and need to keep trying to stare at it. (CAN ANYONE ELSE DO THIS AND SEE IF THEY CAN STARE).
I cant physically keep eye contact with it and maybe its because I drift into my own thikning world without realising and trying to conecntrate and keep still?. Dont know if this is from anxiety from me worrying too much. I also am concious of my heartbeat and have alot of tension in stomach.
I also get the shakes when doing sit ups. Is this from muscle tension or what could cause this?
And when lying down I am always concious of my pulse as I can feel it. Is it normal to feel your heartbeat and not be able to keep physically still? I also notice a pulse in my ears when sleeping but it could be due to ear plugs?
Im also not out of the closet and so it could be a cause o fmental symptoms? Or could it be to amalgams as I have 14.
Can anyone tell me if these are normal things and I am worrying too much or if these are indeed symptoms and have a name?

Hi, when i first met my partners mum 19 yrs ago she didnt like me, she said i had shifty eyes, i couldnt look anyone in the eye for long or anything else. I had a thyroid problem, a couple of yrs earlier i had severe adrenal burnout which no doc could help me. Mercury messes with thyroid function and also adrenals, i would definitly get some tests done and look into amalgam removal.

It sounds related to concentration problems, and mercury is well knownn to mess up people's ability to focus and concentrate.
The heartbeat symptoms are typical adrenal gland symptoms. I have problems with it too. The more stressed out I get, the worse my adrenal gland symptoms get. I'm at the height of some stress now, so when I go to bed, my heartbeat shakes my whole body, and no matter how tired I am or how relaxed I feel, it keeps me awake most of the night. As Dawn said, mercury is often the root cause for adrenal and thyroid glands getting messed up. And once your adrenal is shot, it also negatively affects concentration.
I hope you get it figured out soon, and start to feel better.

On the internet research MB12 (methylcobalamine). There are a couple of websites where they show people who have improved in eye contact taking MB12. It may take months, but it does seem to be associated with autism, which is associated with mercury toxicity. I feel for you. It is very difficult to live with as others sometimes misread you. No your are not crazy. Recovery from mercury toxicity has helped many to recover from eye contact issues. Hope it helps to know that you are not alone.

No, none of this is you. That's the problem, when you are well or nearly well, you can't even try and have these things happen or be anxious, it doesn't occur. When yu have these things, you can do everything you can, think how you want, and you'll be wasting your time.
The eyesight thing is normal, that's what happens with mercury and/or candida. Both go hand in hand. Check both out!!! Eyesight symptoms of either can cause loss of ability to focus, temporary blindness, blurred vision, strained vision, losing sight of words as you are reading something, they start to disappear on the page (I have had this), having to re-read a sentence over and over and still not able to absorb the information or enjoy what you are reading (or watching on TV). Panicked and odd thinking. Obsessive thoughts, ritualistic behaviours, anything you can imagine that can possibly be distorted can happen. EVen the things you don't normally consider will be somehow disturbed and really I cannot put into words the suffering.
getting the shakes from exercise? Yes I've had that also, where your muscles actually tremor. I don't know what causes it, but assume it is nerve problems also in the muscles themselves.
Yes the hearin gyour own pulse when lying down? Yes, I get that all the time. I have had it where my bed will sound along with it because my pulse is going that strong that movement of my bed will hit th wall slightly. I can hear it beating in my ear also, the pulse itself. it's odd. and yes not being able to keep still.
everything you are saying to me sounds like your whole system is being affected. 14 amalgams is a heck of a lot!!! Yes that is most likely what is happening to you, but again as I say to anybody, please get yourself on a candida diet if you can to aid you in your symptoms as you prepare for possible amalgam removal. Even one filling can affect a sensitive person, so 14 could really be doing a number on you.
No these things are not normal, and they are not from worrying about it and are not you. You'll think they are you, you'll decide that they must be and it's you causing it, but it isn't. As I said, when you're well you won't even be able to bring this stuff on if you tried.

I have to agree with Bex. 14 amalgams are a lot of amalgams. I remember when I was 15 and went to the dentist. He put in 15 fillings in one day. Looking back, I have to wonder if I even needed to have that many fillings or if he was fleecing my mother. Tend to think that he was taking advantage of my mom.

I also am skeptical of the method dentists use to determine if fillings are necessary. I personally believe that only a small percentage of fillings that are placed are actually necessary. I would love to find some research on this and to find the justification for the method dentists use to determine that fillings are necessary.

Hi everyone. Wow. I can't believe what I am reading here. I have had anxiety symptoms my whole life and have just recently have I realized that mercury is most likely the cause. I find eye contact to be the most difficult thing in my life to do. More than anything else. Just looking at things is very hard for me too.
I am working on getting rid of my mercury now with homeopathics and clay baths. I hope you fellow sufferers can find some relief. Be well.

Good luck Colin. I also had the problem with eye contact all my life until my amalgams were removed. It was a very uncomfortable thing for me to endure and affected my relationships, casual or otherwise. I also suffered shyness, fear of authority, various other fears, and disturbing thoughts, like whenever I was in a car, I would constantly picture car crashes. In fact, I would not sleep in a vehicle while it was moving until after my amalgams were removed. There is much more but hopefully this displays the tip of the iceberg of what mercury can do. Keep us posted.

Joe, I had a few amalgams in my baby teeth but they fell out when I was a young lad. I have a feeling most of my mercury came form vaccinations, but its hard to figure something like that out for sure.
I screwed around with a few of "mental reconditioning" approaches for my anxiety a few years back but I came to realize that my anxiety is organic in nature, being caused by poor health, ie: mercury. Good luck with whatever you chose to do though.
That's wonderful to hear you are getting better Russ! I'm happy to hear it.

I read your story Russ, it was quite a battle you had! Its very nice to hear that you have recovered so well though, I'm happy for you.
How many DMPS IVs did you end up doing? Do you know why vitamin C works so well against mercury?

There is research showing that hg builds up in the eyes and causes eye twitches, irregular eye movements and other problems.

Reader's Digest did a study and found that most dentists do unneccessary work . The best way to find out if the reccommended work is neccessary is to see a second dentist who obviously should'nt be told that you went to another dentist first.I was told I needed fillings in teeth more than ten years ago ,never had them done and those are the teeth that don't bother me.

Maybe the beat plan is to do nothing to teeth that don't hurt.
