Hi,
My hands shake slightly most of the time. Although this is somewhat normal from what I have read, I understand that it can be a result of my nervous central system damage. Although, I must say it runs in my family as my dad's hands shake when he is upset and/or anxious.
I do take some sedatives from time to time, and this helps with overall muscle relaxation. Of course I always opt for the natural cures so I do take magnesium but it doesn't always help when the stress is too high. Since my mercury poisoning I feel so much more emotionally weaker and I constantly have to fight this.
Sometimes other people notice that my hands shake, and it's embarassing. Is there any supplement that could potentially help with this, or any tricks that can make your hands more steady at times of high stress?
Thanks for any input, Nina

At the risk of sounding like a tedious broken record here, I have to say that whatever weakness you have genetically, or whatever toxin is affecting you, diet is the foundation of anything else you add.
Whatever you take, is only going to either help the symptoms, or at best, give you a little more of what you need, but it most likely will not heal you, or truly improve your health as such.
Once you master your diet, as in totally exclude the bad like sugar, gluten etc and include the good, proteins, fats (butter, coconut oil, olive oil, even fat with meat), eggs, healthy vegetables etc, then the body can begin to absorb nutrients again and start to heal tissue/nerves and many other things we don't even think about. The body needs us to do this so it can do its job. If we are sick enough, it cannot do what it needs to do and we'll chase one thing after another to get an answer.
Diet may not be everything if you have mercury going into you everyday, but it's a start and may help you with what you have, whether it's genetic or not, you'd be amazed at how even genetic weaknesses can be improved upon dramatically when the body gets a chance.
I know this sounds rather plain, typical and boring, but I'm afraid that's where I would always start (diet), before going to any other stage of treatment. once you master that, then you can start on fixing other things that maybe under all this like amalgams or something else.
Sorry, I know it's not much, but that's just my two cents worth. and so often without getting the diet right, anything else you do may have little to no results, because the body cannot properly utilise it. In fact, often diet alone can be enough, but if you add supplements to it later? You may then find they are much more effective and can be absorbed and actually do something for you, or at least do more than what they were doing before.
for example. Mercury, or whatever else that maybe attacking your immunity? the first thing that goes wrong is whatever genetic weakness you already havet will usually be attacked first and that will be what shows up with you. Someone else may get something entirely different. because of their different genetic make up.
This is why people on here, though mercury can cause many of the same symptoms, people will still have their own personal suffering in an area that someone else might not be getting as much.
This is why diet when done strictly and properly, at least allows the body to have some foundation and it may then be able to gain more strength and deal with other issues much easier.
I hope this helps a bit. I'm not saying diet will cure, and you may already be doing this, but for many on here, it is absolutely essential. You maybe able to loosen up on the diet later on if you improve enough and heal, but in the initial stages, one has to stick to it basically 100% and for long enough so you start to notice a change.

Another couple of thoughts. Bex is absolutely right about diet, but I have seen some big improvements in the past week by adding HCL pills with pepsin before meals. These really help with breaking the food down into the protein our body can use. They make the stomach more acidic, and help kill off candida too. I had a couple of uncomfortable days with die-off, but persisted, and am definitely feeling better now.
Shaky hands might also be low cortisol, Nina. It's very likely your adrenals have been affected by the mercury. Do a google on adrenal fatigue, and see if you can find the symptoms of low cortisol. You might want to support your adrenals and help them heal by taking adrenal glandulars. These made a big difference to me, although my adrenals are very damaged now, and I don't hold out much hope of them recovering fully. I wish I'd known back then what I know now...

i too get shakey hands Nina but when they start shaking i know now im in for a seizure, i didnt use to connect the two cos it never use too get that far. When I went to the clinic they explained that its seizure activity and its based at the base of the brain and nervous system. My partner had an wpileptic son and his hands always shook first. In my opinion I would stay on the sedatives if they help control it thats what ive been told to do. I think our nervous systems are very damaged at the moment, so im not worried about taking anything that helps. Hugs Tracy

Nina, also it could be the thyroid. Mercury loves the thyroid and most mercury symptoms are the same as low thyroid.

Hi, most likely its a form of beign essential tremors.
Have a drink, beer or cocktail. That should help. I know it sounds odd but it works.
