I am going to have my composites removed by Dr Hesham El-essawy tomorrow.I had my amalgams removed about three years ago but have only had minimal improvements. When i went to see him recently mercury vapour readings in my mouth were very high (140 microgram/m3). I want to get these to zero and hope this will give me the improvement i am looking for.

HI Richard, all the best for tommorrow! and may this be a turning point for you to at least allow your oral cavity to completely rid itself of the remaining mercury hidden in the tubules.
Keep us posted on how things and and any changes. Certainly, that reading is very high and surely this at the very least should produce some improvement in you over time.

I'm keen to know the outcome. Will be rooting for ya. I also had mine removed years ago and have made zero progress, which may be related to mercury in the tubules or may not be.

dear Richard, I tried to send you a private message back in response to your questions to me, not sure if it went through, all I can say is you are in good hands, he won't muck it up and I very much doubt you will regret your choice, just hope this makes a big difference for you, its got to be a good thing getting the buried stuff out, I wish I had from the start of my dental hell, didn't know where to go, though. There are a lot of mediocre dentists out there, Hesham is not one of them. All the very best!
