The psychiatrist that I go to knows that I don't suffer from typical depression and I'm not even taking anything that he's prescribing right now. Actually, I probably won't see him much longer because he is leaving the insurance network that I'm in. He did help me win an appeal and get the money to go to the Amen Clinic DC (see www.amenclinics.com) last year for SPECT scans of my brain. Amen Clinics is one of the few establishments in psychiatry that considers toxicity issues in mental illness.

I am seeing a psychotherapist but it's mostly a bandaid measure to help me vent some of my frustrations and get some encouragement during these very dark days.

For what it's worth there are still some outstanding people in the mental health field but they are few and far between. I have gone to good ones and bad ones.

This morning I suffered from severe (emotional) seizures and suicidal thoughts. I'm starting chelation again in hopes that will give me some relief.
