That sounds like your best option, I wanted all mine pulled, the largest fillings anyway, but my holistic dentist insisted on saving them with onlays....to the tune of $1100 each!!! I had over a dozen fillings and still have some crowned teeth that have to be pulled...about 7 or 8 more. I will be left with some good, enough to hold onto some partial appliances I hope....that is all that matters. And if you get cavitations, you can come over here to get them fixed. Many people live all their lives with improperly pulled teeth...my grandma and grandpa had dentures and lived well into their ninties. I think cavitations are a worse threat when you have mercury toxicity as well. The mercury destroys the immune function and then the bacteria have their way with you.
