In London, one of the early anti -Iraq war rallies was attended by an all-time record number of people, by most counts well over 1/2 a million and the media tried to shave it down to about 80 thousand The exact same thing happens here all the time. Huge demonstrations get hardly any coverage and the reported numbers of participants gets reduced many times.
