Did your doctor have you on a diet regime before bringing on antifungals? It is a really risky thing to do to get on an antifungal, if you haven't already starved out the yeast with a proper candida diet.

Also antifungal act aggressively towards yeast and split open their cell walls. Not only does this release the toxins from the yeast itself, but any other toxins that the yeast contained (heavy metals can be one). You can become very sick from this, I have myself.

The best place to start is a healthy candida diet with appropriate foods and fats to help heal and build your health up. I would recommend the Weston Price diet because I believe this is the best I have heard of and also helps heal the body no matter what you suffer.

Antifungals "might" be ok for some people who have been on the diet for a few months first, but I still feel they can be a bit of a risk, particularly if a person is metal toxic.

Your body may still be trying to eliminate the possible massive amounts of toxins released during the antifungal killing of yeast and some of the ways it might deal with it could be diarreah. I don't know if there is any solution, other than your patience and making sure your body gets good food and fats to help heal.

If this is a case of metals being released from yeast cells being broken, you might need something to help bind those metals like algin (Herballure sells this product) and the brand is "nature's Sunshine".

I used antifungals and got very poisoned by the release of metals from yeast and had to use DMSA to chelate the metals back out of me, but this is not advisable to take if you have "silver" amalgam fillings which contain mercury.

To be honest, right now loss of weight is the least of your worries. I've had a lot of weight loss as well and got very upset by it, but the main thing is health and building back up and allowing your body to detox and if you lose weight in the process, it should come on again later when it's ready to gain. You might also find eating acidophilus plain sugar free yoghurt a bit of a help to your gut. Probiotics are great, but maybe too potent at this point.
