Bex and Russ,

Thanks for posting the info. on Adrenals. My dr. just prescribed me a low dose of hydrocortisone (Cortef) because my cortisol is very low. I know some people produced too much cortisol when their adrenals are stressed. But I am at the point where I do not produce the cortisol anymore. I know there are natural alternatives, and while she uses them, she seemed to feel I would be better off with the Cortef. I know a lot of people on the frequent low dose chelation board take Cortef at low doses and Jacob Teitlebaum recommends a low dose in his books about chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia. Part of me is afraid to try it, and part of me wants to see what it does. I have trouble tolerating Vitamins and may with this as well. I think my dr. felt I may tolerate this compounded form without fillers better than any vitamin with several vitamins. I hope if I don't feel well I will be able to stop it without any repercussions. I know she said it is just to replace what I am not producing instead (low dose) of suppressing the Adrenals like they do with high doses.

Thanks again for the article. I like the tips on the trampoline, skin brushing, diet, and fresh air and sun! Maybe I'll buy a trampoline! I used to walk on my treadmill for 10 minutes before I needed energy for something and it worked wonders (this was years before I got really sick but I was tired then too).
