Within the past week, on radio and TV in Canada, there was the following discussion: on the topic of tuna, the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. broadcast an item on the various brands of tuna and how much Hg they contained because "mercury is a known neurotoxin".
Another item, of today (Feb. 26/07), in discussing air pollution, stated that coal was an environmental disaster because, among other things, it contained mercury, a "neurotoxin particularly harmful for children." I'm giving you direct quotes.
Nary a mention of the mercury sitting in millions of people's mouths, offgassing and driving them crazy. FEH.
Animals feel pain & suffering just as we do, and they value their lives as much as we value ours.

How ironical. Almost everyone has mercury in the mouth. Why are they concerned about tuna???

They should be concerned about amalgams. But should let people know about tuna too. I was poisoned from eating too much tuna without knowing about the mercury. If I would have known back then what I know now...
