TGoss,
It's really important during this time to remember that emotions come and go. Mercury-related depression is very common (I believe) and you will make it through and you will be an inspiration to others.
I remember having salmon as we were traveling through Boston a couple years ago. We ran out of Algin and we told each other, "If we get into an argument in the truck, lets remind each other that we just had salmon". Sure enough, before long, we were bickering about something or other. We then laughed as we reminded ourselves that we knew this would happen because we had salmon without Algin.
Having come this far, you're on the final stretch and it will most likely get better from here, although you will certainly have ups and downs, even if they are severe.
If you do feel suicidal, I urge you to call a friend or help line on the phone. We all need emotional encouragement at times and especially with what you've been through, you deserve it.
Take one day at a time and focus on what's immediately before you. Don't worry about things and don't think too much about tomorrow. You're in the middle of a delicate process that may be the turning point in your life. I also think it's important to remember that you're never alone. Emotions often tell us lies, especially when we're mercury toxic.
I spent most of my life depressed, having terrible low self esteem, terribly shy, unbearably lonely, etc. Those feeling have gone away and now I consider myself emotionally balanced and normal. It was difficult for many months after the fillings were removed as I had severe ups and downs, but they eventually smoothed out and my life has been getting better ever since.
Remember, if you need to talk to someone, just call someone for help or company. We all need it sometimes. Then, whey you're healed and feel good, you'll be an expert at helping others who are where you are now.
Take care and know it's going to get better soon.
