My mum had to go to the docs today as she is still very unwell. They took her temperature and she asked why they now use the ear procedure. The doc actually said they had to stop using the oral thermometers because of the danger of Mercury!

Hi Tracy, i wont put a mercury thermometer in my mouth, i use a digital one.
Its good that some docs are realising the dangers, if only dentists would stop the stupidity of putting it in peoples mouths.
