No, most people's problems are not self inflicted. A healthy person does not consider his/her health, in fact, they take it for granted. Sick people are generally are unable to think of much else, as they are simply "unwell" and afflicted.
A toxic person is even worse. They are not just ill, but are unable to control much of their own feelings/thoughts and can end up forcing themselves to appear "ok", when inside they are almost screaming. I find them the bravest people of the lot, looking "ok" (abeit a bit pale), but in agony on the inside.
Whether we are wasting our money or not, we are determined to improve or live a life that most of us have been horribly denied or at least it has been interferred with greatly. To see the motivation on here, even by those close to suicide is incredible. That is more positive, than a healthy person whingeing because they had a rather "boring weekend".
Wasting money or not, the want and need to improve to get on with life is the ultimate goal of all who are here. Seeking answers and trying to give answers also.
Self inflicted? That is a terrible insult to all those who are sick, but cannot find answers. Because those answers might not be obvious, or the tests may not show clear answers, does not make anybody's illness here less real than someone with cancer or diabetes!
And also, the so-called "mental diseases", like depression, OCD, all sorts of stuff, so often actually is caused by physical illness. If the brain gets any of those chemicals messed up/distorted, the person will behave, feel and think likewise. The brain is just another organ. But when the signals in that gets screwed around, the suffering outdoes just about anything.
Then the poor person is put down as being simply mentally ill and put on antidepressants and sent on their way, or put into an institution. Their apparent bizzare behaviours, or fearful thoughts, or odd thinking, never once is considered to have a toxic answer. How is it, some have had alleviation or even cures from candida/mercury or other toxic treatment? even without antidepressants? Others go on suffering, perhaps do not find the answers at all. some commit suicide.
They are the ones who are to my mind in most need of treatment for their health, yet are overlooked. Nobody can understand the aguish of a toxic body and brain until they have been there.
So no, it is not self inflicted. For those that think it is? simply have not experienced toxicity of this nature.
