Though I personally don't exhibit any symptoms of mercury toxicity I have one metal filling (which I intend to have removed) and am convinced that most people, the world over, have alarmingly high levels of mercury in their system, even if they don't know/feel it. Though death and disease are an inescapable fact of life, I'm not very interested in speeding up this process with man-made pollutants! So finding the right supplements, to me, is very important

I've recently begun taking Algin as a daily supplement and now, a week into it, I'm amazed with how it makes me feel. If I'm taking Algin on an empty stomach, particularly, I tend to experience a "high" of sorts. Algin puts me in a good mood. I feel as though I've just discovered some wonder drug -- that's how much I'm impressed with it. Psyllium husks just don't compare, in my opinion. It tends to give me conjunctivitis (A.K.A. "Pink Eye") and if you're looking for an alternative form of fiber, I think Algin is a purer, more superior choice. Though it could always be what "brand" of psyllium you're using that causes the bloating.

If you end up trying Algin though, let me know how it works. I'm curious if it has the same effect on other people. My wife is trying to get over mercury toxicity and after taking Algin she usually feels better. It seems to put her in a more normal state. But when I take Algin -- no joke! -- it makes me borderline joyfully hysterical and wanting to jump on a trampoline or go jogging or otherwise exert myself.
