I have visited your site many times before I registered. I read on all the mercury related sites, I have to say this is the best one. I've read your story and can also relate to what you went through. I just thank god it didn't take anymore of my life to figure it out. I've read soo many different stories, it upsets me to hear of soo many people that are affected by silver fillings. It sickens me to think of a dentist putting mercury in a childs mouth.
I went back to the dentist who put all the fillings in my mouth and questioned them on the ingredients in my fillings. Little did I know that I would upset the assistant nurse like I did. She gave it away by how upset she got with me, by the questions I was asking her. She told me that I stated nowhere on my paper that I was allergic to silver. I said no I'm not allergic to silver, I eat with a fork and spoon everyday. I said I'm allergic to mercury, like everyone else in the world. I was soo happy I had researched before I went in there. She told me my dentist said I would be sorry if I removed all the fillings. Little did I know a couple of them were leaking from me grinding my teath. When I went to my new dentist he showed me the black blue color on my teeth.
Every since I've been reading on this, I'm questioning my mothers asthma. I told her to go to the dentist and have her fillings removed. She went and had one that had been leaking for 20 years replaced. She immediately got flu like symptoms afterward. I figure I inherited my sensitivety from her. Since then I've found out the hard way you need to be very careful on your choice of a dentist.
