My name is Kathy. I am new to the forum. I am just amazed at so many posts on mercury poisoning. I was married to a Jamaican for 7 years and got very sick. I don't know if mercury poison was the cause. I had severe headaches, I was diagnosed having a hot gall bladder and gall stones, vomiting some green stuff and the list goes on and on. Finally, I left him. My bladder was back to normal.. no stones. I just thank God to be alive.

You don't happen to be the lady from florida, who had an incedent with mecury being stored in a medicine cabinet do you? Sometimes one should think before they type, simply because of what the public will imply from what you wrote, even if it was not what you really meant. So bottom line you were married to a jamaican for seven years, you were sick, you left him then you got better so what is the message behind your statement?

I know that I was being poisoned. How? I don't know. When I read the post about the woman from Florida who was poisoned by mercury by a Jamaican, it really made me wander was this done to me. When I left the Jamaican, I got better, but I had to drink a Jamaican herb to cleanse my system from the poison, pray and anoint my head with oil daily.

you cant get mercury poisoning from just being in a relationship with another person, but you can be affected psychologically which one may interpret as being/feeling poisoned. Also i would like to know what relevence, if any, is there to this person being Jamaican? I mean why mention that?

I have read on another forum of a woman who suspected being poisoned by her husband...his relgion used mercury in some of their rituals...can't remember what his country of origin was. As soon as she left him she started to feel better.
Also it is possible for a man with heavy metal toxicity to deposit mercury into a woman just thru sexual intercourse. Scarey thoughts hey, but not so far fetched as some may suspect.

The amount of mercury passed through semen is likely to be extremely small and probably not capable of poisoning anyone. I would be interested in seeing some facts and figures. In light of this I think it is important to steer clear of unecessary scaremongering, for want of a better word.
The reason why i ask why mention someones ethnic background is because it is not clear from the post what the relevance of the person being Jamaican is. It is not clear whether Kathy believes this person had poisoned her because he used mercury as you say for some kind of religious purpose or purely on the grounds that he is Jamaican or even black. The latter obviously has racist undertones which i would want to challenge. My previous post was an attempt to clarify this.

Thanks richard for getting to the point, that is what i was trying to get out of the OP. I am curious because i am JAMAICAN my self. That being said, that statement was real ignorant and plain prejudice. As for partners infecting otheres, some things are in fact true, you can poison each other from sharing the same bed,it is said the vapors from one can enter the other from sharing the same sleeping quarters over a period of time, how true it is,noone can really pin it down. Another thing is other things can be passed on,for instance mercury intoxicated individualsare succeptible to various prasites and other things which can be transmitted through sexual relations. The original story was from a woman living in florida, which is why i asked the OP if it was in fact her who experienced this.

You stated that you had to cleanse your body from the poison, again what was the poison? You are constantly contradicting yourself,in your original post you were asking about mercury,so you are not stating any facts. I have heard of some voodoo rituals from other countries where they use mercury to control individuals,i have no facts on it,and don't see how one could poison the other without poisoning themselves also, eitherway i'm sorry for your pain, but please try to filter your thoughts before you release them.

I've been following this thread. It's possible that some are being offended by something that doesn't seem to have been meant by the original poster.
In fact, there was a mention of someone being poisoned on one of the forums (I thought it was this one) a few months back where a woman had been poisoned by her husband as some sort of revenge. I can't remember what his ethnic background was.
Honestly, I didn't get the gist that this was some sort of a racial attack or I would have been offended myself. She stated ..."When I read the post about the woman from Florida who was poisoned by mercury by a Jamaican, it really made me wander was this done to me."
Really didn't get the idea that she was attacking someones race. Afterall, she had been married to him for 7 years.
Kathy, if you haven't been scared away by this misunderstanding, can you explain what you meant?

That's why i asked her to get to the point, please go back and read the original post, then tell me exactly what you get from it. It makes no difference if it were a ppolish, african, indian, bottom line she singled out one group of people as if to give evryone a warning as to not interact with them for some reason, not yet explained. Now that's why i stated she should evise what you write before you post any message, though she may not have meant any harm,i still don't get the point of her post,as she has yet to fully explain herself.

First of all, I wasn't attacking anyones' race. We are all equal whatever race we are. The statement that I made wasn't ignorant or prejudice. I was just saying when I read the post about the woman from Florida who was poisoned by a Jamaican, I wanted to share that I experienced the same thing by my ex-husband who happened to be a Jamaican. If I hadn't experienced it, I wouldn't have posted it. I think you guys are taking what I said the wrong way. No one knows what I've been through but me and GOD. I may not give all the details of what happened, facts and etc., because that part is hard for me to talk about. Sometimes revealing too much can be scary. There are things that happened to me that I don't understand myself.. like the black line that appeared on my forehead. But it was a JAMAICAN man from Miami that helped me overcome my sickness and GOD. I was hoping that the lady from Florida would read my post, because we have a lot in common and I could have shared with her how I overcame my sickness. BE BLESSED!

I did not say you attacked anyones race intentionally,i just was explaining what you wrote seems like an attack,i never called you a racist,i said your statement sounded like that, hence the reason i state you should think what you write before you post i it,simply becase of the message you get from it. I am not offended because idon't deal with any voodoo or know anyone that does nor do i want to know,i'm glad you did get better,as this is a reality, people do practice voodoo and witchcraft, but unless you explained what exactly happend to you, people will think you are either ignorant or phsycotic. If you please you can explain in PM and i will keep it between me and you. You don't have to give everyt detail,it's your personal business,i'm just curious as to what you are speaking of.

Could it have something to do with this.... In March, the Rockland County Department of Health added an article to its health code that prohibited keeping mercury in an uncovered container in homes. It also required that all mercury sold in stores must be correctly labeled in English, French and Spanish, and must contain warnings about its danger. In addition, vendors are required to inform buyers of the dire consequences of mercury spills and exposure. “This was specifically done because of the knowledge that people in the Afro-Carribbean neighborhoods of Rockland were using mercury for ritualistic purposes,” says Dr. Arnold Wendroff, the environmentalist and director of the Mercury Poisoning Project, who has been monitoring mercury use in these communities for more than ten years. Is this a wake-up call for the Bronx? http://www.lehman.edu/deanhum/jct/pdf/bj_2005_03_a.pdf

I've never seen this post before you dragged it up today Theone, but yeah that is true, Jamacians, Haitians... Caribbean thing I guess, part of their voodoo, anyway they sprinkle mercury around their houses, they believe it keeps evil spirits away.
but then again, so do american and european doctors believe it keeps things away, bacteria in their case, which is why they put it in vaccines (seems to make bacteria flourish in most people actually) and then of course there is the amalgam issue... so choose your witch doctor and your poison I guess.
I wouldn't pester those docs of yours of yours with this info btw unless you want them to make things more difficult for you, they know this stuff already and they ignore the facts, just like the voodoo witch doctors. There are zillions of problems with modern 'medicine'. They'll get theirs don't worry, just leave it in God's hands and get on with your own life now with better knowledge of the world around you, from your new perspective.
Stay away from doctors. Unless you break a leg or something, that they can fix, most anything else they often just make worse. stay away.
