Hi Richard, someone did say that it's possible that due to DMSA's ability to grab mercury tightly, that any mercury at all in any lab where DMSA happens to be, that could be what the DMSA has picked up (if any).

I don't see otherwise how DMSA could contain it. It is not fish! doesn't come from the sea, it's not in the crush of the earth.....so how else does mercury get in, if at all?

Also, this does not explain why DMSA helped me when I had a new exposure to mercury. I was re-exposed to mercury from being in a dental office and got VERY ill after it. EVeryday I waited to improve, but my body does not eliminate toxins well and tends to hold them in.

I started taking DMSA (andy cutler style) and began to see improvements and was able to chelate some of this re-exposure back out!

Now how would that be possible if DMSA contains significant mercury? i would have been further poisoned, particularly as I am someone highly sensitive to mercury and I react almost immediately to it. i hardly see how I would have improved one bit if DMSA was contaminated.....

So not sure what to think there.
