I don't personally have knowledge of DMSA containing mercury, but I have been exposed to exquisite disinformation campaigns.
An example is the quackwatch website. (I'm not putting a link here because I don't want to help the search engine positioning of this disgusting and deceitful website).
This organization and its website is a small leg of the NCAHF (National Council Against Health Fraud) and is funded by pharmaceutical companies. They continually try to discredit the entire alternative health movement. Why? Because the pharmaceutical companies are losing billions per year because of the truth behind alternative medicine.
To see the truth about the deceitful pharmaceutical-funded quackwatch website, check out
http://quackpotwatch.org. You may also want to check out a
small article I wrote about them in response to their article about amalgams being perfectly safe.
Another tactic used by pharmaceutical companies is to discredit people in the industry (kill the messenger). For example, Kevin Trudeau. This man is a hero in the industry and has done much to uncover the "unholy alliance" between the FDA, the FTC, and large pharmaceutical companies.
Adversaries of the truth will point out that Kevin has a "criminal background", yet, numerous alternative health practitioners—who have helped heal many—have been raided, held at gunpoint, and convicted of crimes (that are not really moral crimes) simply because they are exposing the truth about the immoral activities of the FDA, or they are healing people and proving new medical techniques that actually work against diseases. These truth-loving family-run small business owners now also have a "criminal background".
I have personally heard the stories of many small business owners who were helping people who had no (zero) complaints against them and were raided at gunpoint and had their stock of products totally cleared from the shelves.
An example I have personal contact with is
the clinic that did the initial DMPS sessions for me and Laura. (Scroll down a few paragraphs under the heading "Now about the clinic raid".)
You will also notice that Kevin's books (on Amazon) have a host of extremely polarized "reviews". There are those who love the book. There are those who hate the book. If you carefully analyze the group of "reviews" that hate the book, you will notice that many of them seem to be worded and stylized to as to indicate that they may be from the same person attempting to appear as a large number of different people. It's very interesting.
Finally, I would point out that words of one of the greatest consumer advocate laywers, James S. Turner, Esquire:
<img src="http://herballure...ure,JamesTurner,Still,h140.jpg">"One of the things that political scientists say quite frequently is: Very shortly after a regulatory agency is created, it gets captured by those it regulates. ...I think they're totally wrong. I believe [color:"red"]they're born captured[/color]; They do not come into existence until the industry needs them."Cheers.

Below is a repost of the clinic raid story:
Now about the clinic raid:
This clinic was participating in a study out of the University of Texas using Aloe Vera IV to fight cancer. They were supposedly having excellent results and were testing on volunteers who had done everything else and were looking to this as their last hope.
Laura and I actually spoke at length with many of these people because they did the Aloe IV in the same room we did the DMPS/vitamin C IV. As I remember, they had indeed tried everything else and were volunteering to do this and having great results.
Most were of retirement age and were very knowledgeable about the subject of natural/alternative health. Others were a little "younger" on the learning curve and had that hunger for information we (who know) already have.
According to the Doctor (everyone there called him Dr. Joe—a really nice guy who really cares about what he does), the ATF (if I remember right) and FDA came in and held guns to their heads point-blank. They were told to turn over all the information relating to the University of Texas study. Then their office was searched, computers were conficated, the Aloe was taken, files were thrown all over the place and the Feds left, never to be heard from again.
Of course, the study was effectively halted because this Fed action was aparrently coordinated with events at the University which made it clear that the Feds didn't want the study to continue. Since this event, several of the test volunteers who were in remission have died.
There was an article in the newspaper and the event was on the news—twisted and containing plenty of omissions of course. Another local alternative medicine newspaper did an excellent article which they said could be published anywhere by anyone. I will be placing in on my website (
RussTanner.com) soon.
Many people don't realize how many federal raids occur in this country every week. There is no trial. There is no conviction. Only people using guns in a threatening way taking action under the color of law.
There are a number of books documenting this subject. My current favorite is called Racketeering in Medicine. It's a fast-paced names/dates/places kind of book written by a doctor: Excellent read.
