Laura and/or Russ, I'm very interested in trying the NSP Immune Stimulator product. I have been using a similar product for a few years periodically and it has recently been reformulated and I don't like the change.
Anyway, my question is about the beta glucans in the NSP Immune Stimulator. Would you happen to know whether they are derived from yeast? I'm trying to stay away from supplements with yeast. It might sound funny that I say that and yet I'm taking medicinal fungi like the mushrooms. But I do ok with those. I was just wondering about the beta glucans.
Thanks in advance!

Good question. Yes, the beta glucans in this product are derived from yeast, specifically Saccharomyces cerevisiae. I understand your concern and hope this helps. For those not concerned with this issue, I love this product and whenever I feel "something coming over me" I take it and begin feeling better within an hour (usually less). Many have been converted to natural health ideas through the use of this combination of herbs. Nature's Immune Stimulator

Thanks for the quick response! Well ... hmmm..... you know, it's funny, I stayed away from all fungi for over a decade because of the teachings of the antifungal regime. Years later, and a whole lot sicker, I decided to try medicinal mushrooms for my failing immune system. It turned out that my body seemed to want medicinal fungi -- I do really well with them and it doesn't aggravate my candida. Since hope springs eternal, I'm tempted to try this product anyhow and see what happens. I'm hoping that this particular strain of yeast will not aggravate my candida overgrowth tendencies.
Crossing my fingers. LOL!

NSP offers a money-back guarantee if you're not satisfied with the product. That will help you eliminate the risk. I don't think shipping is included in the refund though.
Hope that helps.
