The drug, dichloroacetate (DCA), has already been used for years to treat rare metabolic disorders and so is known to be relatively safe. It also has no patent, meaning it could be manufactured for a fraction of the cost of newly developed drugs. Could be promising if it was sincerely researched--and not yet another drug created for pure profits-- that has future side effects that will do something like fry your liver down the road.
i know mega-doses of Radiation will kill cancer cells- but then about 7 years later, the radiation left in the body will create leukemia by affecting the bone marrow.
Lets hope this drug is not yet another one of these types of drugs pushed through by the FDA that ends up being toxic.
There are actually quite a few natural items that have actually killed cancer- but that the FDA made sure to pull off the market or TRIED to pull off the market because they worked too well but could not be patented by the drug companies.

Possibly the most effective anti-cancer substances on earth is also amazingly inexpensive. B-17, also known as amygdalin, targets cancer cells and selectively kills them through a relatively simple and well understood mechanism.
This mechanism and it's amazing potential has been proven in many cancer survivors. It is explained in the book Nutrition: The Cancer Answer by Maureen Kennedy Salaman on pages 56 through 61.
This information—although known through Sloan-Ketteing experiments (among others)—has been ignored and concealed by cancer profiteers.
A pharmaceutical extract/synthesization of amygdalin was patented in the 50's as laetrile.
Apricot pits, certain types of almonds, and several other seeds are rich in amydalin.

Cheap, safe drug kills most cancers Watch out for ANY drug. Synthetics and the organic human system DO NOT mix. Synthetics will always win. Always use natural herbs. Don't underestimate their power. Tea kombucha is known to cure cancer.
