Amalgam Folk- Just a brief note of appreciation for forwarding my blog and podcast info. Many of these clinical presentations may look like "only mercury" - and as you will see from my notes on both of my sites below, the complexity of the situation often involves more challenges. See the post on the woman with mercury, severe, and we found, with Dr Lord's help, profound Zinc problems. On the Podcast we are discussing ADD:The Media, the Meds, and the Madness. Thanks again for connecting! Chuck Dr Parker www.corepsychblog.comCurrent information on the biologic evolution of psychiatry www.corepsychpodcast.comReal problems, real people, real progress

I have know that mercury blocks your magnesium and zinc so I have been taking both and can monitor my need for magnesium by my symptoms (back muscle pain, neck pain working into headache or difficulty staying asleep-means my magnesium levels have gotten low ), but I have never been able to tell any difference if I take my zinc or not. Now I'm wondering if I just haven't been taking enough of that to do me any good. I have been taking 50mg. I don't remember how much Cuttler reccommends-I loaned my book out to a friend.
I've also been learning about HCL. I wonder if one would benefit more from taking HCL along with lower doses of supplements???
Anyone have any thoughts
