Hello, I feel for you cause I am in the same boat...I thought I was pretty smart cause I got away with a few cheats over Christmas and then I had a glass of wine New Year's eve and that put me over the top. What a way to start the new year and a very good lesson!!!
I don't know if you are doing the diet, avoiding gluten and dairy and sugar, but I strongly recommend it, I can feel all the symptoms coming back too, not as bad as before, but if I would have continued on, I would be right back with the nightmares, anxiety and depression and feelings of worthlessness too. Mainly it is my digestion that is affected, but ultimately it affects my moods too. The anger and irritability is all sneaking back again. Our livers are severely compromised by the metals and we have to be good to them so we can get better.
So now I am eating smaller meals, taking bitters, boiled flax gel, aloe vera gel to optimize digestion as well as the ongoing milk thistle and dandelion for liver support. And I am using Algin, to help eliminate the toxins as my body cleans out again.
I also drink a warm glass of water with sea salt every am, to cleanse and detox and then 2 more glasses of warm water rigtht after. Lots of water all day long. And very easy to digest meals....not alot of red meat or raw veggies, mainly lightly steamed veggies or soups....just until you start to feel better.
Your body may be overloaded with toxins from the flu, so give yourself lots of TLC, dry brushing, epsom salts baths, yoga or mild stretching and try to fit in at least 30 minutes of walking a day....that is crucial for our lymph system to pump out the toxins.
Hope this helps and you feel better soon.
Sandi xoxo
