Hi Jinx, you said you took two 25 mg of DMSA in total? IF you took them isolated, you will get worse. So say if you take one capsule and then do nothing and then another day take another one, you can easily get worse. It will just push mercury into worse areas (brain being one). You have to take a capsule every 4 hours around the clock, set an alarm (sorry I'm confused here, so correct me if I got what you said wrong). You have to wake up at night to take a dose and carry on like this for at least a full three days, then have a break of the same amount of days and repeat this cycle. If you don't take a dose every four hours, you risk the movement of mercury into worse areas. As with anything else, taking it periodically is very risky.

If I were you, I'd try it again on the proper protocol and see how you go. I know it's a risk becuase you have amalgams in your teeth, but I'm not sure what else you can do at the moment. All I can say is, if you try it and you notice things are concerning, alarming, stop the round and then evaluate your symptoms and see if they improve again and maybe try it again. But don't push yourself to stay on a round if things are too much. That is a bad sign, so stop..

Well, it's no wonder you strayed from the diet, it's Christmas and the pressure is extreme to try and avoid everything, especially when you are already miserable. But I strongly advise you to get back on track and don't cheat, cheating is enough in itself to throw a person into an extreme condition (I know how that feels). Really make sure you eat the healthy fats as well as following the strict diet, as this helps the brain and helps tissue repair and encourages bile production which is needed for detox.

I wouldn't start the DMSA until you've been on the strict diet for at least a week, but it's up to you.

I don't know if I would extract the teeth...if you do this, definitely get it done by a biologic dentist who will make sure he/she removes the periodontal ligament and doesn't leave it behind to basically rot. Otherwise you risk cavitation, also make sure you get a local anaesthetic WITHOUT a vaso constrictor. Vaso constrictors serve the purpose of shutting down the blood supply around the tooth, so it numbs it for longer and more efficiently. Problem is, in doing that, the healing can be halted because of lack of blood supply and risks cavitation.

If it were me, I would hold out, stay on the diet and if that alone produces ANY improvement after a week or more, I would give the DMSA another go on the four hourly regime and see what happened.

I would probably look at getting the big fillings replaced by cerec porcelain, as this is proving one of the best for most toxic people. It is strong and biocompatible. It is unlike the typical porcelain that usually has an infused metal base (containing nickle and all sorts of stuff, but it covered over with white, so people have no idea). Cerec is just pure ceramic. And ALL dental materials contain metals, they are unavoidable. Porcelains, composites, glass ionomers, even dentures. So the best thing to do is to choose a material that is most stable and doesn't readily leach out its contents. One person on here was very toxic, had schizophrenic signs, was so ill and chemically sensitive. They got cerec replacements and now have their life back, they no longer get on here, they're basically well. Though they admitted to me that the diet is helping, so though they are at long last able to loosen up more, they stil have to watch it. But I have heard mostly good reports on Cerec, even by the guy that runs the clifford blood testing lab in US, and he's a biochemist I think. He says so far they've not seen a bad reaction to cerec (but again, I'm alway wary regardless).

Here is a link you maybe very interested in reading, I would save it if I were you. http://72.14.253.104/search?q=cache...p;amp;gl=nz&ct=clnk&cd=5

At least this gives you some choices. I don't know if I would advocate removing your three teeth, but that is up to you. I can understand you thinking of it though.

At this stage, I would just recommend perhaps you stick with the diet strictly and see how you go, and maybe try the DMSA.

THat's all I can really advise. I'm no professional, so I have no idea what the ideal answer is. I wish I did!
