This is not good. But I do appreciate what you're experiencing in more ways than you realise. I get this a lot also and it literally drives me insane.

Anyway, the ALA you took was obviously a bad move, but it's done. Though you have fillings already in your mouth, in the state you are in, I would almost suggest you try the frequent dose chelation with DMSA regardless. Because what else can you do?

No amount of supplements are going to do much and I gather you're on a good diet, so it seems you may have to try it if the mercury is in areas that are setting off brain symptoms, doesn't mean the mercury is in the brain, it can be elsewhere and give mental symptoms, just as mercury in the brain can give physical symptoms. It can be hard to tell.

I'm no a doctor or anything, it is very hard for me to know what to suggest to you as I would hate to make a bad situation even worse. But it seems you probably feel like it can't get much worse.

Maybe if you do just a few rounds of DMSA, it could at the very least quieten down some of the mercury....Doesn't mean you have to keep doing it, but trying it to see if it might help "might" be something at least. It's not recommended no, but some people do actually use it with their fillings regardless, so though andy says no, some doctors reckon you can still do it.

But of course, I feel it's not a wise move. However, in your state? I would probably do it because something has got to settle some of these symptoms down and anything else, like using chlorella etc, will likely mobilise the mercury instead and you maybe like me to where you simply cannot excrete what you have been poisoned by. You just suffer. I'm the same way and that for me has grown far worse in recent years after a viral infection which I didn't recover from and other things. I now don't excrete barely at all and the symptoms are extreme from anything I do that is "remotely" wrong.

I gather you are on the candida diet? that you're not consuming sugar, yeast, gluten, fruit, milk etc? This is most important and yeah stay away from fish (obviously), but everybody slips up, so don't beat yourself up over that.

Not much else you can do at the moment. Exercise, sweating etc, will likely mobiise what you cannot even handle mobilising. You need somethign that is going to grab hold of the mercury in you and quieten it down and remove a little of it hopefully too.

If you do decide to do this? I do not know of the correct dose for you. You will have to find that out. Andy does say 50 mg of DMSA every 4 hours around the clock for about 3 days up to a week. You may need lower than this, but some do better on higher, some on much lower. IT is very hard to find out what dose your body does well on. It is not always predictable.

I'm sorry I cannot suggest much more, as anything else, either if you do nothing, you remain like you are, if you sweat you get worse. I hope that the DMSA at least might help, but I feel bad for even confirming you use it, because you still have fillings, but again, sometimes you gotta try something in this state.

Definitely don't go NEAR alpha lipoic acid. Also watch out for all sulfur foods, especially in your poisoned state. They will mobilise the mercury wildly. This means onions, garlic, leek etc maybe a little risky at the moment, eggs too, though eggs are veyr healthy. Just make sure you watch yourself with those types of foods, you may get away with 'some" eggs, but don't over do it.

They just move the mercury around. Sometimes all people like us can do is stick to some boring, limited little diet and attempt to try and remve the mercury at the sametime.

I'm really sorry to hear of this though, but keep us in touch and I just hope the DMSA won't make things even worse, but definitely don't slip up on teh dose. Make sure you take it like clockwork and if you miss a dose, I would stop the round and wait for a few days before starting another one. Being late for a dose may risk redistribution (depending on how late you are). You can get away with about half an hour late or so, but it's advised not to push it.

Keep in touch! and hoping you get some relief.
