I find doctors usually get upset when you call them out on what they DON'T know. I think they were just peed off because you are a thread to their bread and butter!
They fear that they cannot intimitate you with their ideas anymore and you will not need them. Even worse, you might tell others and then oh no, who will I have to overcharge!
