I've noticed that a few people have mentioned electrical sensitivity as one of their symptoms of mercury poisoning. In my case it is the symptom that has very nearly destroyed my life. This is long... When i was growing up(after i had my amalgams put in). I always used to give people electric shocks, back then i thought it was funny and so did they(as you do!). Only later did my symptoms get worse. When i started my first job as a computer programmer i noticed i would sweat when i was in front of the computer screen and i would smell..wierd. Not like a normal sweat..it would be different..acidic. i quit work and went to college and studied various subjects. One of them computers and noticed that when i was in the computer room i would get terrible brain fog. Studying in that lesson was almost impossible and i ended up quitting it. I noticed a pattern. In 1998 i had two fillings put in and then my world collapsed. From being an early bird i simply couldnt get up in the morning and i went to the doctors and he put me on anti depressents. So for the next 6 years i was 'diagnosed' as depressed. I knew i wasnt but i couldnt work so i went along with it..my electrical sensitivity got worse and worse. To the point where i couldnt sleep on a metal bed..i got a wooden one and slept better. I also couldnt sleep at the front of the house where the telephone wires were. If i slept at the back i was much better. I would go into the other room when people used a mobile phone..they would zone me out. to this day they do. Eventually i had my amalgams out and i got even worse. Even now i cannot go within a 100 yards of a phone mast. I feel as if my brain is being sucked out, ditto with wireless PCs. Electrical stores are a problem. Im even considering moving to another country(the US or France) where the voltage is lower. Ive noticed when im out of the UK my symptoms arent as bad!! There is a condition called electrical sensitivity(check out some of the websites) and many people have it. Ive spoken to people who have to talk thru a tube connected to a phone as their regular phone fries their mind and ive heard stories of people living in trailers in fields to escape it(ive slept in a tent in my back garden a few times to feel better). I do know though that this condition is mercury caused and many others are realising it. I am slowly getting better thru detoxing, returning to a meat based diet for the time being and cutting out fish. Drinking gallons of water a day. Out of every symptom i have i wish this one would go away as it stops me from doing so many things. Thanks for reading!

I too have electrical sensitivity, but not quite to the extent you have it. But I feel better when I am out of the city too, particularly on the ocean. My ND did some SCIO testing and said that I should stay off cell and portable phones....I tested really high for EMF's from them.

I think as we reduce our metal levels we will get much less sensitive, but it would still be a good idea to limit the EMF's as much as possible. Instant-on appliances and things that constantly use power, like LED lighting should be kept to a minimum, especially where we sleep.

I have something similar, although a milder variant. I can't use cell phones (I get headache & my eyesight becomes fuzzy for hours after few minutes of use) or have wireless network next to me. Even regular CRT monitors are unpleasant when close (but not LCD ones). I also have aversion to permanent metal contact with my skin, thus I don't wear a watch or even a wedding ring (my wife eventually got over it).

I have electrosensitivity. It was really bad after having my amalgams out. So much so i couldnt use a normal phone, use the computer or watch TV, I had to take 7 months off work i was in a real mess. Its now two and a half years post removal and things have started to get a lot better.

I wear a q link which has helped a lot and take a herb called rhodiola which also seems to make a difference. And i limit the amount of exposure to electrical fields wherever I can. Do you take or do anything that helps you?
