I had acne sinse I was 15 that suddenly got worse at about age 36 (moderate cystic acne for the first time in my life, had been mild prior to that). Interestingly this was around the time that I got a root canal done and all that work was done in a mouth full of amalgam fillings (7 total, 2 of which were right above the root canaled tooth and one right next to it). Now my face is the best it has ever been in my life as an adult!!! (no more mercury fillings and I'm doing chelation) If I do break out it is very small and gone in 1-2 days. The best things I found for keeping my acne away is the algin along with the chelation and infra red saunas. I also use a retinol product at night that i love.
