Not sure if it is or not, could be as candida does show signs on the tongue often. Regardless, you will likely have candida anyway, as anybody poisoned or with any immune challenge, almost without exception has yeast overgrowth.
Definitely deal with it, whilst you prepare for the mercury removal. Candida will just poison you alongside the mercury and make you weaker and sicker and can push an already toxic person over the edge. It will also hinder your ability to heal and detox from mercury, and will make mercury more toxic, as I hear it methylates mercury inside the body.
A candida diet is the best way to start, as this allows the body to naturally reduce the yeast. But it's not something you can continue to cheat on, yu have to be strong and stick at it before the yeast will start to die off. You may get symptoms from this too, as people can feel ill as the yeast die.
Antifungals can be necessary sometimes, but are a little risky as they split open candida aggressivly and candida often contain mercury. So they can end up releasing mercury from the candida yeast, as they split the cell walls open.
diet is the best and safest, at least at first.
No sugar, no yeast, no gluten grains (limited grain full stop), no milk, no fruit. consume things like meat, vegetables (no potatoes or other high sugar vegetables, carrots are risky also), eggs, brazil and almond nuts are "ok" for some, plain sugar free acidophilus yoghurt, and cooking in and including healthy fats like butter, extra virgin olive oil, lard, organic coconut oil. etc.
It's limited yes, but often it's all we have to try and contorl 'some" symptoms and help the body cope easiser.
