You can't simply stop taking an antidepressant cold turkey because many of them cause physical dependence. That's probably why you crash after you stop taking them. May I ask which antidepressant you are taking? I have gone through this several times in my life, but not recently, thank god. Thus, the reason for me using anti-depressants in the first place. I may have health problems, and they may be severe, but the anti-depressants at least got that part of me under control. Almost a month ago, I stopped taking the anti-depressants finally. I am tired of chemicals, but I am scared, because every other time I have stopped, in 30 days (when it all got out of my system) I crashed and burned and was worse than ever. My 30 days is coming up, and so far so good, since I have been taking the oregano and other supplements. I hope this time will be different.
Maybe you could try St. John's Wort? I have never tried it, but heard it could work. If I do "crash" from the withdrawal, I will probably see about trying St. John's
