Nightlight, that is so scarey. My dad was diagnosed with Alzeimers at 55 yrs old, he had symptoms yrs before this, anyway as time went on he was still living with my mother, she was caring for him, you could have a decent conversation with him and he could eat by himself, wash, etc, but one day, at the day centre where he went on a daily basis, the carers there said he got a bit violent with another man, so they sectioned him for 2 days in a phsyciatric unit. When they bought him home, he was drooling, he couldnt look at you in the eye, couldnt speak,or walk and had to have a nappy on from that day foreward, he was drugged up to the eyeballs and he didnt recognise any of us again. it was so sad, he is now in a care home, he has parkinsons aswell now.
I was in a deadwoman state after removal, it scared me cos of my dad, we are so alike in many ways, i didnt jave much protection with each removal, only a rubber dam, , i was totally numb in my brain, i couldnt think of anything, no emotions what soever, i had two kids that loved me and it was hard, i felt like a piece of ice. I remember that i couldnt even watch television. It has gone now, my emotions have come back with avengeance, i feel depressed and anxious alot, very nervous but not numb anymore.
