Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to pass along some good news that I've received since my total healthy dental revision over the summer. I just had a checkup with my internal medicine doctor and my chronic epstein barr virus seems to be gone. This is a miracle!
Over the years my health has been quite poor and I've been given so many medical labels (i.e., chronic epstein barr virus, chronic fatigue syndrome, candida related complex, fibromyalgia, to name a few). I had become so ill and weak and was pretty much house-bound.
When I received a confirmed diagnosis of the chronic epstein barr virus, though, I got scared. This virus in active form can lead to some pretty scary cancers and other health implications. And it was making me really sick.
That's when I decided to revisit the mercury issue. I use the word "revisit" because nearly seven years ago, a Naturopathic doctor I had consulted suggested that my health problems could be stemming from my dental work. At that time she recommended that I delay doing anything about it until I felt better. Well, I waited and waited and I never felt better. Quite the contrary, my health continued to decline. Her advice in delaying dental restoration turned out to be very bad.
So, after the Chronic EBV confirmation, I delved into the mercury issue -- reading everything I could get my hands on. And I spoke with people who'd had mercury poisoning and had been through amalgam removal. Incidentally, Laura and Russ, you guys were more helpful than you'll ever know. Thank you for taking the time to speak with me on this issue!
In my readings, I kept coming across cases of people with chronic EBV that recovered after amalgam removal. So, I decided to give it a try.
In late July/early August, I had all 17 of my amalgams removed. The amalgams were done in one visit (thank God for conscious sedation!). Two weeks later, I had my one root canaled tooth removed and another "problem" tooth removed. My holistic/biological dentist was fabulous. He reversed my allergies to heavy metals two weeks prior to my amalgam removal. And also advised me on supplements to use in preparation for, during and after the procedures. And he also gave me I.V. Vitamin C therapies, other I.V. Vitamin therapies, oxygen therapy, laser and Anodyne Infrared therapies, ozone therapy ..... I can't remember all that he did! Some of the therapies were necessary post extraction because when my root canaled tooth was extracted, my left sinus cavity was perforated and I developed a heavy sinus infection which did require antibiotics.
I'm so glad that I had this dental revision done. I've noticed some encouraging changes. There is still much room for improvement and I don't consider myself healthy yet. But, my goodnes...... When the bloodwork starts showing changes in addition to how I feel I'm improved -- what a miracle!! My C Reactive Protein blood levels are also going down (CRP measures infection/inflammation in the body). Prior to dental restoration, my CRP levels were off the charts.
Anyway, I just wanted to share this in case it might be helpful to anyone.
