I tried using several things for mercury poisoning but nothing has helped at all. Plus, I cannot find a doctor in my area who will even listen to me when I mention Mercury Poisoning. Needless to say, I am struggeling by myself with this.
I am interested in "trying" DMSA. Can someone tell me how much to take (mg) & how often. I just want to get better.
Thanks!!!

Firstly, you should not do any detox if you still have metal fillings in your mouth; I got all mine done when my thyroid gland failed and I did not want to take drugs endlessly. When you get your fillings out, it is VERY important to keep your bowel very loose, almost to the point of the "runs" as mercury will be excreted that way and during amalgam removal the mercury level can be substantial, so I used two large magnesium capsules three times per day to keep myself loose enough to prevent mercury seeping through the bowel wall to be released back into the bloodstream thats what makes some people SO sick. I had NO symptoms as long as my bowels were very loose. Two HOURS after I got the first two done, I felt dramatic relief from depression and anxiety, the next day after I got the final ones done, I woke up a completely different person, the thyroid gland working and felt HUGELY better emotionally. I waited the required 4 months, then went on a detox product called BioChelate, a solution with EDTA. This is a great product, no I don't sell it!! It is very gentle, does not disturb the mineral balance in you or produce fluey effects. You should take zinc with it, as it can affect your zinc balance. After two days, the "angst" I had always had in my gut that rendered me too fiesty for normal social relationships had diminished rapidly, and continues to do so. I cannot say enough about getting your toxic fillings out, then doiing a detox. I have read on the internet about how harsh DMSA and DMPS detox items can be on the body, apparently there is a detox clay bath you can use that is effective, whether a full bath or footbath, I have not tried this, it is expensive and messy, but does work apparently. The BioChelate is a fantastic product, does not hurt you at all, make sure you drink plenty of water with it and pee at LEAST every 2 hrs, as the kidneys and bowel will exrete LOTS of mercury promptly.

I took my first oral dose of DMSA last friday and felt terrible. Very drained out, stiff joints, cranky and tearful. I think I had 2 or 3 BM's that day. Maybe I need to take Mg? I've been taking a multivitamin and other supplements, but not Mg. I started it back up at night. Maybe I need to get my levels up before I start the chelation again. Do you take supplements on the same day as the DMSA? My doctor told me not to take it on the days I do chelation. chigirl
