I know, it's a very difficult decision to either leave things alone, or go through with removal. Gold with amalgam is basically a total and utter disaster zone though and this is a worry.
I realise that it is risky to have things removed, but I wonder what worse will occur to him over time with these things in his mouth.
Surely there is a very good reputable biologic dentist that would give him all the protection and care possible tohave these things thoroughly replaced?
The best preparation and post removal care is basically the candida diet with the good proteins and fats (butters, olive oils etc). Plus supportive supplements, particularly antioxidants and a safe chelation protocol (ie. the frequent dose protocol created by Andrew Hall Cutler (biochemist) to begin to remove the mercury from the system.
I would also get your dad (if he decides to do this) to have a serum blood test to check what materials are suitable for him to have replaced in his mouth. This is available through Clifford labs in USA.
If you're interested in more details on any of this, let me know and I'll do what I can to provide as much info as possible.
all the best.
Bex.
