I think perhaps you should have asked me what context I WAS USING THE WORD BEAUTIFUL IN. I consider anyone with a loving and kind nature as beautiful too. Jid was right and I think you are out of order coming on to this forum making aggressive statements towards people when you dont even know them. I would never intentionally upset anyone, male or female. You dont know me at all and attacking me for making a point about caring about someone, anyone is beyond me There was no need to look into deeper issues the story just made me sad. An apology would be nice but I WONT HOLD MY BREATH

Hi Tracy. There will always be people amongst us who will misconstrue our meaning. When I read your initial email it already had the reply posts and I actually had to read it twice as I was confused as to why there was a disagreement going on.

When you said 'beautiful' my instant thought is 'kind, sincere, nice nature etc, just as you intended. The unfortunate thing about text messaging and emails is that it often doesn't convey the same message to some people because of the lack of inflection that our voice so aptly describes.

Tracy you know in your heart what you meant, I know what you meant and so do the majority of others on this forum. I think that we should end this with a 'beautiful' thought for that 'beautiful' 15 year old who is now in peace.

I would like to end this with one of my favourite little stories. It comes from a Buddhist teacher but I believe that the meaning is non denominational.

THE CROOKED TREE
Don't discriminate. Don't get upset with others if they are different. Would you get upset at a small and crooked tree in the forest for not being tall and straight like some of the others? That would be silly. Don't judge other people. There are all varieties. No need to carry the burden of wishing to change them all. If want to change anything, change your ignorance to wisdom.

Thanks Rachie I am having quite a traumatic and vunerable day today and coming back and reading that was very upsetting. It actually made me cry to think that anyone could think I would mean anything other than I did which was just sympathy for the girl and her family

Tracy,

you're right I have no idea what context you used the word. But blaming the doctors is also a liitle harsh without all the facts. How do you think her doctor would feel reading your post? Maybe all was done that could be done with what was available.

I'm sorry I caused you pain, not my intent, I'm very sorry.

As I said on the other post I wrote what I READ ,its up to individuals to interpret it how they will. I CERTAINLY DONT NEED THIS HASSLE. I have spent a good number of years working with young people and would never assume anything. I thought this forum was here for people to support each other and I dont intend to have to come on and defend myself for caring about someone. From now on I'll post my friends who support me and not put anything else on the forum, Im having a bad enough time as it is.

Please don't leave, you two! We all have bad days. I said some terrible things to my husband this week, and I am so sorry. All of us have uncontrollable days and moods, but we still need to stick together.

I hope neither of you will leave. It is really hard to deal with toxicity and very easy to say things or take things badly etc. It happens with me a lot and people's emotions on here are already like a bow string.

I find i get very very easily upset or irritated by things and can jump down people's throats over anything, whether it's justified or not, I can't seem to tell because I feel so angry and unwell.

And also it's a very horrible situation when a person takes their own life and it's not only shocking, but you tend to wonder about what could have been done or was she listened to and then you consider the other side of those trying to help. So it's no wonder people get angry on one side or the other. I imagine those around her will be totally distraught and asking a LOT of questions.

anyway, just hope you guys don't go. It's hard enough as it is, and this forum is probably the best I know of with likeminded people who are suffering and need to be able to vent, but on occassion it can lead to disagreements, and friction, but it's never intentional. People easily misinterpret on here at times, it's not hard to do.

I agree with Mommy and Bex. I would feel bad to see either of you leave. You both have a lot of positive things to contribute here, and I feel that we would all be worse off if either of you decide to go. I feel like there is something more that I would like to say, but I have tried three times now, and it feels awkward every time. So maybe brevity is in order this time, even though I tend to be long-winded. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I truly hope you both decide to stay in the end. I really value everyone's input in this forum, as it all provides a much clearer and more detailed picture of the disease that we are all working to fight together here.

I second all of the above, we all have our "mercury moments." ...I certainly have my share and my hubby can attest to that!!!

We need you both on here to love and support each other in our battles to good health.
