I do believe that within families, individuals may respond the same to mercury. On a superficial level, it would seem like I got OCD because my mother has similar problems, but I do believe that we both have the problems because we respond the same genetically to mercury. Because we have same genes, mercury was the trigger. Until I had amalgams, I did not have OCD. Until my mother started getting fillings in her late twenties, she had no mental problems. I do believe mercury has made us both ill. She doesn't acknowledge it, but I do believe fillings have caused so much of our suffering. Since 10 years old I have suffered so much. Sometimes I have wished I was never born because it was so awful to have severe mental illness at such a young age, but if I hadn't of stuck through it, I wouldn't have found out that I have mercury poisoning and something can be done about it. I live a pretty lonely existence too. It's easy to say it's "fixable" by going out and socialising, but that's not easy to do when you get panic attacks and so forth.
