I generally don't blame Dentists because they are taught that amalgam is safe in dental school. I do believe people—including Dentists—should not be so accepting of things they learn in school, as evidenced by this mercury issue, among many other things.
With all due respect, I have to say that it really is a big deal to determine whether this harm is done by ignorance or intention. The difference is very important and the implications are enormous.
I know you don't know me or my research. For all you know, I could be some illogical, emotionally-based guy spouting conspiracy theories. However, if you had seen and performed the research I and my study group had, you would have come to the conclusion that mercury, and many other modern issues are indeed intentional. In fact, they're not just intentional, but the intention is blatant.
I know it's hard to believe and I don't expect by just reading posts on a forum that anyone will believe. But I am a part of the fast-growing mass of voices that have come to realize that many of the hardships and terrors in this world are not just manmade, but intentional; And usually for profit.
I strongly encourage brave souls to begin research of their own. It's very good (mentally healthy) for you and will help you develop a world-view that actually makes complete sense.
Here are a few resources to start with:
The Unseen Hand (book)
The Creature From Jekyll Island (book)
Racketeering in Medicine (book)
Cheque Mate: The Game of Princes (book)
Vultures in Eagles Clothing (book)
My business partner and I actually worked closely with the author of Cheque Mate. We helped produce his talk show and helped maintain the computers the book was authored on.
My study group also verified 80% of the references in the "Vultures" book at various law libraries and universities?actually reading the court cases?and they were all accurate.
If these human dilemmas are intentional, then the real terrorists are those who perpetrate them.
"DRUG-RELATED morbidity and mortality have been estimated to cost more than $136 billion a year in the United States. These estimates are higher than the total cost of cardiovascular care or diabetes care in the United States. A major component of these costs is adverse drug reactions (ADEs). In addition, ADEs may account for up to 140,000 deaths annually in the United States."
JAMA 1997, 277(4): 301
If you consider that ADEs are only reported as the cause of death 3% to 5% of the time, the actual mortality rate becomes 2.8 million, at minimum. This makes Doctor-prescribed pharmaceuticals the leading cause of death, period.
