Have read all your posts with a lot of interest, but could some of you tell me how you came to the conclusion that Mercury was the cause of your symptoms? I am not sceptical, just interested, as I feel Mercury may be the cause of mine.

I wasn't sure when I made the removal. After the removal I realised how toxic I really was and I why I was feeling so bad all the time.

So why did you have them removed in the first place? Did you feel better after removal without any chelation?

In my case after continual health problems over a long period of time a research Dr who works mainly in the area of hormones and thyroid suggested I be tested for heavy metal as she had seen it a few times before in other people. Test confirmed very high levels of lead, mercury and thallium.

I have been ill for a couple of yrs and was always at the doctors having tests and in the end i had every test going and nothing came up, i even had a brain scan and HIV test, i had to rule out everything. One hospital i went to did a bunch of tests they dont normally do, they only do them as a last resort and still nothing showed. I must have had about 30 symptoms, now i have had my amalgam out, i only have a bout 3 or 4, not all the time though.

Funny you said that,i've been going through this on and off for the past 11yrs. I always had the detached feeling,of being out of place ever since i was young(i guess that was the first sign). When i turned 18 i had panic attack, and i've never been the same since,i would often feel a bit better, but never totally well. I always felt something was wrong, but noone could figure it out,i was actually told i probably had HIV(Ignorant family doctor),but offcourse tests were negative. Over the years i've had every scan known to mankind.numerous ekg tests, ecg, emg, stress tests, mri of entire spinal chord(was ordered by neurologist, after they coudn't figure out why i was getting weakness in lower legs),also did a few test to rule out MS. Had cat scan of the brain and sinuses, endoscopy. Also numerous labs, all these problems yet i was told i'm fine. I am often sent away by doctors,i think they beleive i'm just a mental case, but i know my body quite well,i don't drink smoke,do any drugs,i eliminated sugar from my diet among other things. Today i turn 30 yrs old,and hope one day i can really enjoy what life has to offer,as i go along everyday fighting myself. Normal stressors that everyone goes through in life without a problem, leave me totally disabled. But i have high hopes for a bright future, even though sometimes i want to just give up,that's too easy.

Happy Birthday Strength! Maybe we should feel honoured to have our illness as it seems a lot of famous people have too. Chopin, Lisa Presley and Princess Diana, so maybe we are the elite ones!

Thanks tracy,i feel so much better after that. well i honestly don't feel famous, thogh i live a sheltered life as if i was. My condition is like a blessing along with a curse at the same time, simply because my illness has made me more careful of taking cetain risks that normal people practice everyday, well i have hope that one day we will all be posting on how great we feel to,and not complaining of annoying ailmaents, well have faith everyone, remember these words,as i tend to say them to myself at times. "Death and life is in the strenghth of the tongue, and he who speaketh life shall eat the fruit thereof".
