My partner had his mercury amalgams removed on Monday and Wednesday and has experienced extreme dizziness on about 4 or 5 occasions since. He is a very fit and robust person who is never ill and doesn't have a sensitivity to mercury but these episodes have knocked him for six and he has to sit down until they have subsided. He only had them removed because I've been so ill and knows the dangers of mercury amalgams. Has anyone else experienced this. I'm really worried about him.

dear lucy maybe he does have some sensitivity to mercury although it hasnt shown before i had extreme dizziness when i first became ill to the point of not being able to get from the bed to the bathroom without falling over and i had no idea about mercury toxicity then perhaps having the amalgams removed was a huge impact on his body and things will get back to normal

In the beginning, i took a weeks supply of antobiotics and after i finished them i got so dizzy, i also couldnt walk to the bathroom from my bed unaided because everything was spinning, it probably was yeast, mercury, thyroid all rolled into one. i still get a bit dizzy now, but i do have very low blood pressure, it might be that.

I used to have dizziness with amalgams. I remember getting up out of my bed and I would walk off to the side and instead of walking out of my bedroom via the bedroom door, I'd end up in my wardrobe instead : / I actually couldn't even perceive where I was. It was like someone who had a hard night of drinking, yet I'd done NOTHING. I was 21 at the time, so yeah that gave me a lot of encouragement, I thought I was heading for early senility.
I ddin't tell anybody, I remmber I felt sick about it. And I used to go offbalance as well and once I was working in this place and people would laugh because I would via off on an angle sometimes when I walked and I'd laugh, but inside I was very upset.
I even developed some hallucinations before I went to sleep at night. I actually thought at one point I was dying.
So mercury can do anything to a person, and so can candida. Going on the candida diet helped offset many of the symptoms of mercury, because it took a lot of hte load off my immune system at that stage.
Your husband may have inhaled mercury vapor during his amalgam removals. Much of that could have gone up his nasal cavity and into the areas that control balance. He may feel "ok" otherwise, but it's not to say it's not upsetting his perception of balance and affecting those areas.

Dizziness and loss of equilibrium are not uncommon with mercury exposure. It sounds as if he had exposure during the removal.
Sounds like protective measures would be a good idea (C, E, Algin) and perhaps a detox plan.
Hope it gets better.

Lucy, I've also experienced this extreem dizzyness After each time my dentist placed mercury fillings IN my teeth. I was about 12 years old then-- and recall it vividly. Sitting in the back seat of the car after my tooth filling appointments, I would be so spaced out that I wondered if that was how it was like when you were drunk or high.
The mercury vapor inhaled in from them drilling out the old fillings also caused a slight degree of dizzyness- and I feel this could be what he went through also.
Have him take some Algin , Vitamin C with bioflavonoids, Activated Charcoal right now daily-- and do a little colon cleanse so he doesnt re-absorb any mercury in the colon.

Thanks everyone. He is still feeling dizzy a lot of the time but has such a strong constitution that he's not too worried. I'm the one who's freaking out about it because I know what it's like. Her went to a proper mercury free dentist who used all the precautions and is taking chlorella and garlic. Hopefully these dizzy spells will disappear given time.

That's probably the cause right there(chlorella) It mobilises mercury, dizzines is probably a reaction to the chlorella. Stop taking it for a while to see if he gets any change in symptoms.
