Hi jid, I appreciate what you're saying, and that is great you have that attitude and may it remain with you.

Believing you will get well is great. If you are not totally incapacitated now and you are going to a good dentist who knows what he's doing (which you are)and receivingf proper treatment you will indeed have the optimism and hopes of a very good outcome.

But those of us who have not had the outcome we wished and hoped, and may not have received the advice we wished we had to avoid these problems are not negative etc, just unlucky.

Believing is great, but again it does not always magically set the stage for automatic healing. Alot of it comes down to the person's general state of health, research in getting the right dentist and treatments and advice from others and good fortune from things going right and as they should. If it was down to attitude, I should have been healed a LONG time ago. Nobody expects a bad outcome or years of suffering and I never envisioned it. It was down to weakened general resistance and too many things at once were burdening my health, plus the wrong things were done dentally. Had I known or been aware, I may have avoided it. But all I can do now is try and pass it onto others so they may avoid similar mistakes.
